Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for carrying out research and development experiments for several projects in biological sciences related to cell and molecular biology. The key responsibilities of a research associate/scientist are as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct experiments make detailed observations and interpret the results.
  • Excellent contemporaneous data recording in ELN
  • Prepare technical reports by analyzing raw data.
  • Be abreast with latest technological developments in biotechnology space.
  • Adhere to laboratory SOPs and safety protocols.

  • Strong scientific aptitude and keen interest in biological sciences (cell and molecular biology, cell culture techniques, protein purification and analytical techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western blot, LC-MS-desirable).
  • Familiarity and operational understanding of routine measurement equipment (pH meter, weighing balances, automated/manual pipettes etc)
  • Ability to apply appropriate methods and technologies for obtaining desirable results.
  • Strong logical reasoning, ability to analyze critically and think creatively.
  • Strong analytical skills & high attention to detail with an ability to identify and diagnose an experimental problem and troubleshoot and/or innovate.
  • Good command over spoken and written English.
  • Basic level knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
