These roles will require long term working on clients sites in and around India. We help our clients to innovate to be a driver of increased value and competitive differentiation for the businesses they serve; optimize the value of investments in technology, increasing capability and capacity whilst reducing costs and defend their business and help to rebuild trust.LIThe opportunityThe demand for Managed Services continues to evolve in the public sector as government departments and local authorities seek to reduce costs and improve service with a smaller Civil Service and a reduced budget. As a firm, we already successfully offer a number of Managed Services to our clients and are now looking to extend these services, and to develop bespoke services, to our Local Public Services clients (local government, education, police and housing associations). These services will include:Performance Management & Financial Reporting Accounting Process Outsourcing Business Process Automation Contract Management AnalyticsSolutions Architect should be able to provide high level of technology solutions and directions to growing the firms Managed Services Practice and be an advisor to the CIO/CTO community of large enterprises customers across the globe.Your key responsibilitiesAs a Senior Manager in of the Managed Services team, you will help to further develop managed services strategy as part of the EY Managed Services business. You will foster an open and inclusive work environment and a positive learning culture through coaching and counselling team members.Enable sales of Technology managed services through solution architecture and presales support on opportunities in the region Understanding scope of work, current technology landscape, services profile / workload and client expectations on a Managed Services opportunity Define all elements of the solution model in sufficient detail to accurately estimate the effort, staffing pyramid, cost and timeline for delivering the services Lead internal reviews completion, proposal preparation, definition of business sections of the contract and client discussions on the solution and proposal Lead transition of services and handover detailed solution to the delivery leads. Provide assistance to the delivery team in the initial phases of engagement stabilization Help in initial client meetings and pursuit activities as part of business development efforts Contribute towards creation of knowledge assets; and optimization of current frameworks / processes related to the pursuit processSkills and attributes for successExperience in presales activities such as client requirement gathering, solution design, estimation, staffing, costing, pricing and proposal writing Experience in selling and / or delivering application outsourcing services to clients in India and abroad Well conversant with standard project & people management skills & tools, good understanding of on/offshore delivery models, transition approaches and application support activities Good acumen in developing staffing cost optimization and commercial deal shaping Good understanding of wide array of technologies with experience in one of the ERP platforms, preferably SAP Exposure to new technologies and models - Digital, Analytics, AI, as a service etc.To qualify for the role you must haveMinimum of 10 years working experience in the areas of application outsourcing services (combination of sales / consulting / delivery)Ideally you ll also haveStrong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills. Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
