As Senior Engineering manager, you own building, managing, focusing, and developing an engineering team that meets the needs of the business and works well within the overall technology landscape. You draw from a deep and broad technical expertise to mentor engineers, complete hands on technical work, and provide leadership on managing end point devices in complex IT & OT environment. While you should possess deep End point device management skills, you spend majority of your time building and nurturing great End point device engineering talent.Show More Key responsibilitiesResponsible for providing technology leadership to End point device team to ensure products and platform services get built based on defined specifications; terminal requirements and industry best practices in a timely manner Delivery accountability and implementation ownership of Industrial End point device and management. In charge of defining processes & systems to manage workstreams that drive End point device infrastructure as core Drive compliance & adherence to processes amongst the staff Create and maintain End point refresh cycles, deployment, administration, disposal Design and manage End Users support management and change management process Build and maintain the control and process environment for the organizations endpoint encryption and gold standard operating system image library ensuring client configuration integrity, controlled access, and incremental versioning Build process for software distribution, application and security patch management, desktop security, remote support tools, and other enterprise desktop management, monitoring, and troubleshooting utilities Work closely with the business to identify opportunities to better support and standardize endpoint infrastructure and applications for our growing number of warehouses, Terminals and vessels. Work with partners, product owners, scrum masters and the scrum team do release and sprint planning and provide team commitments accordingly Work closely with Terminal, Regional, Peers & stakeholder on regular basis to bridge the gap between technology and business. Have financial and budgetary responsibility for area of delivery.Show More We are looking forA total of 10+ years of industry experience with 5+ years of experience in architecting and/or developing and delivering end to end products/solutions. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in managing teams Expertise in End point devices and Management of device for automated and semi-automated industrial environment. Expertise on building solutions which can be horizontally scalable, distributed, resilient, fault tolerant and monitored. Expertise in providing operationally critical technology services on the industrial wireless solution side. Knowledge in modern technology patterns e.g. MDM, zero trust end point device, Endpoint Protection and security, Identity access Management etc. Experience in building solutions in an agile/DevOps environment as well as managing teams in that space as well as building dashboards to monitor, report on, and manage request queues, KPIs, and ensure SLAs are met and hold accountability Good understanding of device attributes hereunder performance of equipment under circumstances of industrial environments The ability to continually identify team improvements (retrospective analysis, maturity assessments and OKR sand KPI s) An understanding of the trade-off between technical investments and continual delivery of business outcome The ability to provide direction, support, and guidance for others hereunder mentor, code-review and contribute to product development Independently lead solution design and estimation Understanding infrastructure industry trends and relevant innovations in solution delivery methods Experience with Information Security management - Maintain the data confidentiality & integrity and relevant compliance of information systems., As Senior Engineering manager, you own building, managing, focusing, and developing an engineering team that meets the needs of the business and works well within the overall technology landscape.
