Job Description

  • The position in discussion is with the SUT Compliance team in Indirect Tax Service line at KPMG Global Services (KGS). This role is an integral part of the firm s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.:
  • .Assisting with various state and local indirect tax compliance projects
  • Performing a detailed technical review of state and local indirect tax returns on engagements.
  • Assisting with engagement workflow management and supervising tax consultants on assigned engagements.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline work flow.
  • Assisting with resolution of indirect tax notices from state and local jurisdictions
  • Assisting with preparation of client billings and account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with drafting new proposals for new and existing clients.
Job RequirementsQualifications
  • Minimum master s degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
  • Understanding of indirect taxes, 2 4 years of experience in Indirect Taxation

  • Willing to work hard, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical and advisory skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in fast moving and demanding environment.
