We drive Companys data and are responsible for investigating and assessing core ESG risks + opportunities faced by companies in the Company rating universe. We are looking for new passionate, competent, and technically skilled team members who like to work in a collaborative environment to innovate, advance, and contribute to the development of the S- Ray- technology. You will be part of the global ESG Data Team and work on a wide variety of projects with a focus on ESG, climate, corporate governance, and sustainability data. You will be responsible and accountable for contributing to grow Companys data products and for ensuring high content quality.You Are Expected To : - Develop expertise in sourcing Environmental and Social performance data of companies- Collect data for companies across multiple sectors from Sustainability Reports, Integrated Reports, UNGC - COP, Annual Reports, CSR Reports, among others- Evaluate controversies and product related litigations of publicly traded companies globally- Maintain our high data quality standards with regular ESG data quality checks- Develop sectoral knowledge on ESG certification, management systems, standards which are all required for ESG researchWe Are Keen To Hire Professionals Who : - Have 5-8 years experience in ESG ratings research, asset management research, asset owner or investment consultant research, think tanks focused sustainability, or academic research institutes- Have familiarity with non-financial reporting frameworks, including GRI Standards, TCFD, UNGC-COP, UNPRI, among others- Have a strong interest in ESG trends and specific knowledge about the dominant ESG issues for selected industries, such as (not limited to) water, climate change, waste, circular economy, CSR, Shared Value Models, EIAs/SIAs, Energy Management.- Experience in managing teams is a must- Understand the reasoning behind integrating sustainability information into decision making processes- Are familiar with articulating analytical viewpoints and work with attention to detail- Have experience in training and mentoring team members and managing team members with diverse skill sets- Possess a good command of the English language-speaking and writing- Are not afraid of new empirical challenges and learning a new area of expertise- Can draw inferences from and develop insights on data trends- Can prioritise activities and meet challenging timelines- Possess excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel- Are motivated and passionate about sustainable finance and climate investingBenefits : What To Expect : - Expect to advance your understanding of sustainable finance subjects, meet thoughtful people across different fields of expertise, and contribute to unique research products that will make you proud- Expect a work environment that isnt based on bureaucracy and formalities, but on integrity, ambition and the expectation that everyone is delivering to the best of their abilities- Expect to be challenged and get ready to find your own niche in the global ESG Data Research teamEqual Opportunities : - Company is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will be afforded equal employment opportunities without discrimination because of actual or perceived race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, creed, disability, marital status, citizenship, ancestry, personal appearance, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, political affiliation, military status, status as a protected veteran, genetic information or any other legally protected status.,
