As part of the SAP Enablement leadership function - The Engineering Manager SAP Development & Core Functions will have responsibility to lead multiple scrum teams.Leads across multiple highly motivated and skilled SAP teams covering Development, Integration, Analytics and Security which are geared towards building and delivering solutions that support strategic business outcomes. To enable SAP Engineering teams in all stages of the development cycle with a focus on Delivery management. To Identify, assess and solve problems and effectively deliver business process and technology outcomes. Working with your team you are responsible to manage the overall development and customisation aspects of SAP applications, determining the methods and procedures for the development workstream and application architectures. At the same time work closely with the Product Owner to ensure architecture feasibility, readiness and compliance. You will enable creative customer centric design thinking and aim to improve the usage productivity of the SAP estate. Stay up to date with latest development techniques and strives to keep active in area of expertise to drive improvements and innovations in development processes and methodologies. Monitor implementation of design and/or architecture concepts together with development team. Coach and consult development teams on software engineering aspects.Show More We are looking forMaster or Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Management, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related field or equivalent work experience. Exposure to the broad set of SAP solutions including ECC, S/4 HANA, ABAP, Analytics, Process Orchestration, Fiori etc Minimum of 15+ years of SAP Experience of which 5+ years overall SAP Development Lead experience (ABAP/JAVA/ OOPs/ java scripting/API/ALE-EDI) including SAP development tools and technologies such as UI5, Fiori (implementation of standard apps and extensions of standard apps), HANA Development exposure (CDS etc), OData Services, Webdynpro, Workflow, BRF+, Smartforms / Interactive Forms. Must have leadership skills (Reporting and/or Delivery manager) with demonstrated capability of leading multiple development teams and direct reporting as a manager. Be able to grow teams, have 1:1 conversations and guide teams / individuals accordingly. Understanding of modern development constructs using Agile, DevOps (CI/CD) SAP Certification in Development / Integration space and/or Non-SAP Space would be good.
