Job Description

Sales Specialist

  • Work with enterprise sales account teams to build account strategies and promote the overall cloud strategy within a defined set of accounts
  • Guide customers adopting private, hybrid, and public cloud using Red Hats solutions
  • Build strategic relationships with C-level executives and key business leaders to promote Red Hats portfolio of open cloud solutions through proofs of concepts and pilots
  • Become a trusted advisor to senior IT and business executives within key accounts to create a long-term partnership with customers and ensure these strategic relationships result in customers becoming a public reference
  • Work with enterprise sales account teams to ensure that Red Hats cloud offerings are used in production environments and become the first choice for our key customers
What you will bring
  • 5+ years of experience working in a solutions sales role
  • 5+ years of experience focused on enterprise middleware software like Red Hat Application Services, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic Server, Tibco, etc.
  • Background in consultative customer engagement with a middleware software provider
  • Technical experience with enterprise middleware technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executives at large companies
  • Ability to sell solutions in a multiproduct environment
  • Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers
