* Looking after North India Trade Marketing roll, * Planning & implementation of BTL action plan for entire Value, Differentiated portfolio including brands across all regions & channels (General Trade & Wholesale). * Custodian for the quarterly/monthly trade activity calendar (TAC) to be rolled out to regions. Directly responsible for the buildup of month/quarters business numbers basis TAC. Creating the priority matrix for all activities basis geography-brand combination and criticality of activity. * Spearheading a team of regional trade marketing Manager and Executives, based in each of the regions. * Primary responsibility is to cast the monthly BTL calendar for all the brands keeping in mind the quarterly business objectives and the budgeted BTL . * Plan ABP, Activity calendars, Activations, Contests, Loyalty programs and other Go-To-Market strategies for traditional trade across country. * Building a rolling 3 month customer news and consumer news calendar through active engagement with both sales & marketing teams. This is done at a brand/SKU region level. * Communicating the trade calendar to sales team by any date of the month for them to plan their next two month business in the coming Journey Cycle meetings. * Build the new product launch plan in close coordination with sales and marketing team. * Cast the sales outlook and the spend outlook at a national level for customising the rolling plans. * Conduct shopper research and define the exact POSM that is needed for the trade based on formats, location and contribution to the business * Analyse the Nielsen data to understand the trend for market share and distribution numbers in focus markets. * Participate in the monthly Pre meeting anchored by Supply Chain to ensure availability of stocks and defend sales forecast. Prioritise the stocks within geography in case of a constraint. * Design and administer channel programs for Retail , wholesale & rural to get inclusive growth in the channel. * Create the trade season plan for strong seasonal brands. * Monitor the ongoing project CORE for chemist channel for business benefit realisation * Set the agenda for the review of business with regional sales team for the previous month and also the mid-month review for assessing the current month outlook. * Prepare the annual budget for BTL for next year. *Category management for all 4 categories of operation based on the contribution and defining the planogram, category growth, category development. * Role demands a strong understanding of the trade channel in the categories. * Robust trade insights will enable plan BTL activities that accelerate the profitable growth of brands thereby gaining market share. * Understanding retail & wholesale channel in both urban and rural markets will help deploy resources keeping in mind the competitive intensity & strategic intent for the brand. * Role demands extreme consciousness for ROI of trade spends.,
