Relocation Authorized:National - Family Telework Type: Full-Time Office/Project Work Location:New Delhi POSITION SUMMARY: Located at the Gurgaon office, provides supervision to the assigned personnel and performs purchasing of Goods / Services for IT and Office Administration for various Bechtel offices, including bidder prequalification, bidder lists, bid solicitation, bid analysis, negotiation and commitment of Orders. Communicates with local/global suppliers, and personnel within Bechtel to establish clear definition of requirements. Present progress reports to India office Procurement Manager and participate in periodical reviews. JOB DIMENSIONS: A. Supervision Received Reports to and receives operational direction from the assigned supervisor. B. Supervision Exercised Provides supervision to assigned Purchasing personnel C. Contacts Maintains working relationships with user departments from India office and other global offices to perform assigned duties. Maintains working relationships with suppliers involved with the performance of assigned tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises assigned personnel and ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide support and appropriate knowledge to team members on the work process / deliverables Bring innovation in supplier selection phase and extend support to user department during execution Collaborate with user department and suppliers. Conduct regular meetings / discussion to resolve outstanding issues Perform purchasing activities including goods and services for Bechtel India and other global offices Review Purchase requisitions / Material requisitions and co-ordinate with users in various Bechtel offices across the globe for any clarification Carry out pre-qualification assessment of new vendors in collaboration with the IT and Office Service department Carry out bid solicitation, bid analysis and award Prepare Approval for Expenditure and obtain necessary approvals through system Coordinate with Suppliers for timely delivery and complete receiving of material in the system Accountable to the schedule and timely issuance of Orders Input supplier performance into the Bechtel Digital Supply Chain System Knowledge of the legal and commercial aspects of procurement Participate in Invoice review/approval process and ensure timely payment to Suppliers Lead periodical review meetings with Suppliers for all key packages QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelors degree from a reputed University. 10 years of relevant experience in purchasing office admin equipment and services including min. 3 years in supervisory role ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency and experience in the formation & administration of Purchase Orders / Agreements for Office and IT goods and services Experience on start-to-end process of Procurement operational activities Proficient in all phases of procurement including effective communication with Suppliers, prequalification & selection of bidders, compilation of bid requests and address bidders clarifications Knowledge of IT hardware purchase and experience of executing Order value Strong Negotiation skills Skilled in working with, and communicating effectively both orally and in writing with other functional groups, primarily IT, Office Administration and Finance
