The RoleThe firm is looking for a Product Designer within our firms Projects department. He will provide hisdesigning skills to design the various projects.Key responsibilities:Meeting with clients to establish the design brief, including the concept, performance andproduction criteria.Working on ideas as part of a team or developing design concepts using CAD (computer-aideddesign)Taking part in specialist or multidisciplinary team meetingsSketching initial design ideasIdentifying the suitability and availability of materialsProducing detailed, final hand drawings and specifications or, more likely, using dedicatedcomputer software (CAD) to produce design specifications, including parts lists and costingMaking samples or working models by hand or using computerized prototyping equipmentTesting the design concept by computerized modeling or physical hands-on testing of modelsResearching materials, processes or market requirementsArranging meetings and liaising with engineers and other departments, including marketing, todiscuss and negotiate appropriate production processes, costs and commercial issuesOccasionally travelling to clients production facilities and evaluating the feasibility of productionMaking presentations to management or clients, either when bidding for a contract or to presentdesign proposals.Job RequirementQualification: B. DES/M.DESExcellence in presentation, spoken and written skillsCandidate must have extensive experience in designing the furniture items.He must have curiosity, passion for excellence and be able to ask the right questionsCandidates form NID Ahmedabad are preferred.Desired Experience: 1-2 experience in related field.Salary Budget: up to 50K-60K
