Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and a reliable supply of goods and services.
    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and build strong working relationships with vendors.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers to find new, cost-efficient opportunities.
    • Manage and maintain records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, and related documentation.
    • Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
    • Collaborate with various departments, such as finance and operations, to align purchasing efforts with business objectives.
    • Analyze spending data and trends to make informed purchasing decisions and forecast future needs.
    • Handle contract management, ensuring all agreements are met and compliance is maintained.
    • Continuously review procurement policies and practices, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Lead a team of purchasing officers and provide guidance and support in their daily operations.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain procedures and market research.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in ERP software and other procurement management tools.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in cost-reduction initiatives.
    • Understanding of supplier relationship management.
    • Ability to handle high-stress environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
