To maximise the commercial opportunities and minimise threats to Novartis business through implementation and management of commercial programmes with key purchasing decision makers in specific sector (e. g. hospital, retail, dispensing doctor and wholesale sectors) . The implementation and management of commercial programmes and agreements to maximise sales benefit to Novartis within the appropriate commercial sector accounts. The identification & feedback of commercial threats & opportunities through market changes. Communication of implications and impact of commercial programmes to all Novartis stakeholders including sales personnel, supply chain, marketing and finance. Collaboration with stakeholders when making changes to programmesMinimum requirements1st degree in life sciences or business related subject, or equivalent English Minimum of 4 years experience in sales environment A detailed understanding of the commercial principles underpinning the Pharmaceutical market. Experience of at least one sector of customer types within the purchasing environment and the decision making structure of the environment within which they function. Experience and an understanding of customers and the decision making process in both primary and secondary care. Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
