    LocationNew Delhi, IndiaSalaryThe starting salary on offer for this role is from INR 656,124 INR 749,849 per annum (gross salary), depending on experience.Contract TypeFixed TermDuration24 MonthsAbout the RoleThe Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking a Junior Associate, Administration to support the Programme Team with day-to-day administrative tasks. This role will be offered on a 2 years fixed term contract basis, subject to availability of funding. You will be based in GAINs India office in New Delhi, India.Reporting to the Head of Operations / Manager, Finance and Administration, you will act as a first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. You will need to demonstrate a high level of communications and interpersonal skills.This position is expected to be both responsive and proactive to operational requirements with an ability to plan the work of programme support. You will also provide essential support to. staff and consultants in maintaining good relationships with external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities include Providing coordination, logistic and administrative support to programme teams for organising in-person conferences and online events / webinars which include diary invitations, setting up the right technology, preparing and disseminating materials, contacting speakers / panelists, arranging for payments etc. Supporting procurement process including Purchase Orders (POs) and contract preparation Providing travel support to programme teams for complex itineraries including travel booking and visa processing Supporting project teams in handling legal paperwork, which include consultation with the global legal team, preparation of contracts and liaison with contracting party etc. Handling primary checking of travel vouchers and event bills for arithmetical accuracy before sending it to finance team for payments Responsible for general administrative tasks including office supplies and petty cash handlingAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in administrative role and in supporting multiple members of a geographically dispersed team. You will have proven experience in organising online and in-person events and associated logistics including visas, venues / hotels and flights booking etc.The postholder will also have experience in supporting general finance administration such as processing purchase orders, invoices, requisitions.You will be a fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to systems. You will have excellent communication skills and a good command of written and spoken English in communicating in a multi-cultural environment. You will be highly flexible and able to accommodate different time zones.Diploma or certification in relevant field or related work experience.
