Job Description

    Invest India - Communications Assistant Manager/Associate - AGNIi MissionInvest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency. It is a joint venture between the Department of Promotion for Internal Trade Industry (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and State Governments. It hosts teams working with various Govt. initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG.The AGNIi Mission is a flagship initiative under the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, and one of nine technology Missions under the Prime Ministers Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC). The Office executes the Mission in collaboration with Invest India, the national investment promotion agency.The AGNIi Mission focuses on commercialising Indian emerging technologies: helping private, public, and non-profit sector organisations upgrade capabilities and competitiveness with Indian startup and laboratory innovation. AGNIi has helped global multinationals and government agencies leverage technologies from artificial intelligence (AI) and drones to cleantech and food processing besides many othersInvest India invites passionate and committed individuals to join hands and make a difference.In this role, you will coordinate communications efforts for the AGNIi Mission by managing updates on the website, coordinating with team members for outreach efforts and highlighting events, and keeping track of data related to ongoing engagements as well as success stories. As part of the communications team, it will be your responsibility to ensure that AGNIi communicates regularly to stakeholders via social media and the weekly newsletter.Job Responsibilities:- Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organizations website.- Manage/Oversee the Creation of appropriate website content aligned with the organizations strategy.- Manage the organizations social media handles, and regularly update it based on the needs of team members.- Coordinate the development and publication of weekly newsletter with other members of the communications team, and the wider Invest India network.- Utilise and adhere to tools to track KRAs and active engagements within the team.- Coordinate effectively with all stakeholders within and outside the organization to improve efficiency.- Work with team leadership to discuss and implement updates to the website as and when needed.- Creating presentations, documents, and reports to clearly showcase work and results to executive management.- Collaborate with Website Design, Development, Content and management teams to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organizations standards.- Coordinate and strategise with Invest India Brand Communications team to improve communications and online visibility.- Create strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites.- Any other responsibility that may be assigned Desired Qualifications :- Bachelors degree in the STEM, commerce / finance, design, or the humanities or graduate qualification in or related to the fields computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.- Strong academic track record- Masters degree (MBA or MS or equivalent) is preferable however not mandatory- Prior professional experience of 1-5 years in website and social media management- High degree of responsibility, with demonstrated supporting experience; capable of formulating and executing the communications strategy with a high measure of initiative- Excellent client facing and communication skills- Must understand sense of urgency and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills- Strong management skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently- Attention to detail and end-to-end ownership- Advanced presentation and excel skills preferred however not mandatory,
