Feb 09, 2017 FIFA U- 17 WORLD CUP 2017 INDIA Feb 16, 2017 Welcome to All India Football Federation Home Employment Listing Employment Details Employment Details HEAD COACH OF INDIA U17 NATIONAL TEAM Job Category : FIFA U- 17 WORLD CUP 2017 INDIA The All India Football Federation is the governing body of football in India and is responsible for organizing the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 which is to be held in the country. The AIFF is looking for a highly qualified and experienced football coach to train and prepare the Indian U17 National Team towards achieving a competitive performance in the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017, which will take place in India during 6 th 28 th October 2017. Head Coach of India U17 National Team Joint Selection Committee (SAI/ AIFF) General Secretary, AIFF Qualifications AFC/ UEFA Pro License or equivalent Should be English- speaking and have good working knowledge of English Should have trained junior National teams or youth teams of top clubs for atleast 3- 5 years Candidates with international experience especially in Asia/ Africa will be preferred Preferably below 65 years of age. Salary and Benefits The Coach would be engaged for a period of 08 months until the end of the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017, i.e. from 1 st March 2017 to 31 st October 2017, subject to performance review or as per requirement. Accountability The Coach would be responsible to prepare a competitive Indian team for the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017. The Coach would be required to provide his services at any place in India or abroad as required by AIFF and shall perform his duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned to him by AIFF to the satisfaction and in accordance with the directions of AIFF. The Coach would submit monthly reportsof the team detailing their performance in each training camp and competition to AIFF. The Coach may be required by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) to submit reports periodically on the development and progress of the team. Other Requirements Willingness to work within organizational guidelines and processes Ability to excel in a multi- cultural environment. Ability to plan and arrange international exposure trips/ tournaments in conjunction with and approval of AIFF appointed staff. Willingness to work with local support staff. Willingness to submit reports to AIFF as and when required. Awareness of national, continental and world youth football. Identify talented players (scouting). Ability to train and develop players. Ability to find tactical solutions. Ability to coach different styles and formations. Ability to use match analysis applications Open minded and education- oriented.
