The RF Engineer position is responsible to drive the Embedded and RF initiatives. The responsible candidate will be required to work on embedded software development and testing as well as contribute to the RF R&D efforts. He/She has to work on the test-bed framework to help validate and verify the devices as well as the base stations used on our network. He/She will work closely with the operations and the system back-end team to troubleshoot various network-related efforts. This position requires a high degree of flexibility as well as analytical and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities- Embedded Software development; developing LoRaWAN stack expertise- Understanding of Antenna and board design for RF FCC, EMC compliance, etc.- Work with Antenna and RF physical, MAC layer protocols- Lab RF equipment (VNA, RSA, etc) evaluation and purchase- Testing environment setup using automation scripts and networking equipment.- Review and plan future product upgrades with the development team- Take new initiatives and come up with ideas on how to improve system performance and processesEligibility- Bachelors/Masters degree in electrical/electronic/communications engineering, information technology, physics or a related field from Tier 1 Tier 2 Engineering colleges only (IITs/NITs/IIITs/BITS etc.)- 3+ years of embedded software experience- Familiar with RF/IoT network protocols and standards- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors and serial communication- Excellent hardware/software debugging skills- Result oriented and ready to take ownership- Experience with customers interfacing roles and willingness to go the extra- mile to assist them- Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting- Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbalPerks- 5 working days per week- Great working and learning environment.
