Job Description

    We are looking for a Content Writer to be responsible for authoring a wide variety of content to support Toptal s Revenue and Sales Operations & Enablement teams.As part of our Content Strategy Team, you will connect creative and business strategies to ensure that all Toptal sales enablement content is compelling, highly engaging, and reflects clear thinking and analysis that draws readers in and inspires action. You will work with a high-energy team of Content Writers and Strategists, Sales and Revenue professionals, and Designers to ensure all sales enablement content developed is accurate and engaging. Your work will target both an SMB as well as an Enterprise audience, and you should be adept at adapting content such that it is insightful and solution-oriented for both target audiences.This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere. Due to the remote nature of this role, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Resumes and communication must be submitted in English.Responsibilities:
    • Support the Revenue and Sales Operations & Enablement teams and their growing and evolving content needs.
    • Author unique, compelling content pieces and collateral from a customer-centric perspective that supports Toptal s sales and revenue goals and inspires action.
    • Participate in all phases of the sales content funnel including email outreach, proposal strategy planning, content writing and development, internal review, and production, ensuring that all materials are client-focused and clearly articulate compelling business value.
    • Align with SMEs to understand and communicate Toptal s services in multiple industries.
    • Craft and refine client-focused presentations to empower sales teams.
    • Independently manage multiple projects from concept to publication, often under tight deadlines.
    • Elevate the quality of Toptal s sales enablement content, including one-pagers focused on industries, competencies, and solutions; sales presentations and slides; one-page case studies, and more.
    • Work with other Content Strategists to ensure all content adheres to Toptal style, voice, and tone guidelines.
    • Provide rapid feedback and proofreading.
    • Frequently update existing sales enablement content to ensure it is current and relevant.
    • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
    • Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
    • Create provocative marketing language for our experiences to help position Toptal as a forward-thinking, unique, intelligent, innovative company ready to solve our clients business challenges.
    • Help build the future of Content Strategy at Toptal through supporting content creation for our experiences on behalf of our Marketing team and in collaboration with our Sales and Growth partners.
    In the first week you will:
    • Onboard and integrate into Toptal.
    • Meet the other members of the Content Strategy and Creative teams.
    • Meet key stakeholders from the Revenue and Sales Operations and Enablement teams.
    • Begin to learn the high-level principles of Toptal s brand voice and messaging strategy.
    • Immerse yourself in your first content projects.
    • Integrate yourself into the Marketing function.
    In the first month you will:
    • Explore Toptal s sales enablement tools and resources and understand how they re used.
    • Complete several sales enablement content projects and get a better feel for the types of work you ll be doing.
    In the first three months you will:
    • Become fully integrated into Toptal.
    • Have finished several initiatives that you ll be proud of.
    • Strategize and roadmap future projects you ll take on.
    • Identify areas for improvement.
    In the first six months you will:
    • Enhance existing processes while implementing new ideas and initiatives.
    • Have helped produce and publish several sales enablement content pieces.
    Requirements:
    • 4+ years of experience in content writing.
    • Experience writing for B2B Marketing and Sales teams.
    • A strong creative mind and the ability to connect business strategies to creative content.
    • Prior experience and passion for working within a sales environment, and creative sales process thinking.
    • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise, and compelling stories to educate and inspire decision-makers across key industry verticals.
    • Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements to author copy that meets their needs and vision.
    • Exceptional clarity of thought in communication and analysis.
    • A strong understanding of the components of compelling, action-inducing communications.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as exceptional grammar and command of the English language.
    • Ability to work closely with Designers to ensure content conveys key messages.
    • You must be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism, and incorporate feedback to arrive at the best possible outcome.
