*Job Title: Associate Software Developer As Associate Java Developer You will develop applications using Java technologies. You will be part of a team that analyzes the business users needs, then design and develop an application or leverage existing technology with customized enhancements to provide a solution. Youll develop applications and services, applying standards for programming. You will be accountable for applying standards for programming, naming, security and performance. You provide proper code documentation and implement configuration changes to packaged software applications to meet business requirements. Additionally, you document and assist in defining requirements, creating documents to ensure the applications meet their expectations. You maintain and repair applications to keep them performing by technical and functional specifications ensure that we adhere to quality requirements and have proper test coverage and test cases for codeReporting to the Manager Software Development you will be a part of the Production Engineering and production responsible for team develops integration solutions at airports into our AMS (Airport Management System) product as well as 3rd party to 3rd party. We have a high-paced environment that requires a quick turnaround. We follow Agile development principles and have a CI workflow. We require candidates who can easily grasp and understand multiple environments and have experience in developing JAVA services and applications. We focus on integration services using messages (primarily IBM MQ) and Webservices. The world is changing. Are you ready to join us What you will do As an experienced Associate Java Developer: You will develop applications using Java technologies. You maintain and repair applications to keep them performing by technical and functional specifications Ensure that we adhere to quality requirements and have proper test coverage and test cases for code., *Who you are Experience with Java 8, Maven, Git and Spring Framework Experience in agile development, software design patterns, continuous integration, test-driven development and version control Working knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus/Artifactory ) Experience in Message Queueing (like IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ, Active MQ) Experience with XSLT, XSD, XML Database technologies (MSSQL in particular, but any other would also be an advantage) Working knowledge of cloud compute and storage, including public cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Demonstrable experience of delivering customer-focused products with a thorough understanding of software design principles, standards and practices and advising others on the right way to apply them. Ability to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques. Bonus if you have experience with the aviation domain.
