Teamand cultural fit are as important to us as your technical skills.   • Design and build advanced, secure, fault tolerant and highly performant applications for the Android platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs
  • Create a technical specification document from a product requirement document or wireframes.
  • Write clean, reusable and extendable code using Kotlin
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Technical requirements
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent problem solving, strong CS fundamentals like OOPS, MVP, algorithms
  • 8+ years of work experience in Android app development preferably using Kotlin
  • Have published a few Android apps to the Play store
  • Experience with remote data via REST and JSON, Websockets
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Experience with offline storage, multi-threading, performance tuning, and graphs etc.
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle like Agile
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Crashlytics, Mixpanel or similar analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodology.
  • Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git
