Job Description

    Job Title: Virtual Nurse AnalystDepartment: HAS-VNALocation: CoimbatoreShift Timing: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AMWorking Days: Monday - FridayPosition Type: Full TimeClinical document review and to make decision on admitting to facilityROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Review clinical documents and understand presenting condition, diagnosis, and treatment plan
    • Interpret patients condition from vital signs, lab readings, and medications prescribed
    • Determine the treatment needs of the patient and correlate if the Nursing home has ability to serve the requirement
    • Make admission decision and communicate what is required to get the patient admitted to the nursing home
    • Communicate through email and short messages to the appropriate client contacts
    • Document patient information and notes in the EHR (Electronic Health Record) system
    • Understand the services and infrastructure of each nursing homes
    • Handle priority requests swiftly and provide quick and accurate decisions
    • Effectively manage time to handle multiple reviews and handle documentation requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    • B.Sc./M.Sc. Nursing (Min aggregate of 60%)
    • 1-3 years of experience in hospital setting
    SKILLSET REQUIRED
    • Clinical Nursing care knowledge:
    o Medical terminologies, medical abbreviations, diseases, and treatmentso Knowledge of common medications, their uses, and potential side effectso Ability to interpret lab results and diagnostic tests o Ability to correlate the patients condition with vital signso Basic knowledge on polysubstance (drugs) abuseo Knowledge on various mental illnesses.
    • Communication and Language:
    o Good reading comprehension of medical documentso Strong written communication Ability to summarize patients medical records o Good verbal communication.
    • Knowledge in Healthcare documentation:
    o Understand general medical reports documented for patientso Experience in documenting patients statuso Understand patient confidentiality, data privacy, and ethical practices in patient careo Knowledge on Medico-legal issues and its importance.
    • Other Soft skills:
    o Critical thinking and ability to correlate and make quick decisionso Ability to manage time well and manage high volume of work o Flexibility and adaptability to the evolving and changing needso Ability to work with team and be a team playero Customer service skills by providing empathetic, courteous, and polite responses while adhering to the guidelines.
