Location Coimbatore1. Position SummaryTo develop, create, and modify computer applications software, analyze user needs anddevelop software solutions. Design software or customize software for user use with the aimof optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an applicationarea, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.Principal Accountabilities Confer with database administrator and end user to design system and to obtaininformation on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements andinterfaces. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or toimprove its performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design withintime specified time lines Consult with end users about software system design and maintenance. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensurespecifications of the end users are met. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematicalmodels to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, anddocumentation.Performance Management and Employee Satisfaction Ensure that all reportees are evaluated objectively; motivate reportees Continuously identify channels for training and technology to facilitate the same2. Critical Challenge Developing the application within the scheduled time Developing the application in line with the user preferences/requirements Error free software releases User friendly applications3.
