• As an E-Commerce Web Developer, should be able to perform the following duties:
• As part of a team, performs analysis, design, implementation, unit tests, and code reviews. Works with business stakeholders, managers, and other developers to create solutions to business problems.
• Translates functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs; Provides estimates for development effort; Implementing proof of concept, prototypes and production-grade software; writes unit tests;
• Supports Avantor internal and global web applications for enhancements and break-fix.
• Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.
• Deliver against specific timescales.
• Work in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with business representatives, system analysts, managers etc.
• Able to comprehend business needs and concerns and integrate that understanding into design and implementation.
Knowledge Skills and Other Abilities
• Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience certificates.
• 5 years of E-Commerce development with at least 3 years in SAP Hybris Commerce SAP Cloud Commerce.
• Hands on Experience on Hybris Core Architecture, Cockpits, lmpex, SmartEdit and PCM/Backoffice Customization
• Knowledge of Spartacus, Zul backend development, Solr.
• Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Transactions), Restful API, JSON, Java script.
• Experience on open-source tools and frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, ANT, MAVEN, JUNIT.
• Good knowledge and understanding of DOM, HTML, CSS and JavaScript OOP, MVC, Responsive, Javacript/Jquery and object oriented concepts
• Experience on either of Application Servers JBOSS, Tomcat.
• Experience working with Apache/Nginix.
• Knowledge and understanding of relational database structure and design using Azure Sql, Oracle 11G & PostgreSql.
