Job Description

Today, Alstom in India employs close to 3000 people and in line with Government of Indias Make in India policy initiative, Alstom has been investing heavily in the country in producing world class rolling stock, components, design, research and development to not only serve the domestic market, but also rest of the world.Purpose of the JobHe/she leads Schematic & Apparatus resources and activities on the project he is assigned.He/she is responsible of the electrical deliveries for each electrical baseline of the project hes contributing to.Position in the OrganisationOrganisation ReportingHierarchical : Schematic & Apparatus Domain Leader (S&ADL)Functional : Train Control Engineer (TCE)Network & LinksHe/she is in permanent link with the TCE, the TSE, Subsystem Engineer and the TDE of the project. He is also in direct link with TCMS Validation engineer.He/she is in contact with Industrial team in order to align his delivery planning.MissionsPerformance Measurement/KPIsQuality of his delivery (included sub-contractor delivery): 1st time quality rate > 90 PERCENT (quality rate = modification validated OK / number of modification applied)Respect of the delivery planning (included sub-contractor delivery): 100 PERCENT on time deliveryLevel of application of standard PPL: 100 PERCENT of PPLConfiguration management of his deliverables: 100 PERCENT of deliverables properly managed into configuration databaseContinuous improvement or Return on Experience (RoE) management from previous projects: zero missing RoEResponsibilitiesAccountable for:Delivery of the right product at the right moment to the Project Engineering Manager, the product consisting into the complete electrical case or a set of electrical deliverables for each baseline made of : Cabled Principle Scheme,Wiring/Device list,Harness case,electrical architecture at train levelS&A workload on his project/tender,Applying of the Metier rules and processes.Responsible for:Managing the S&A QCD of his/her project,Managing the S&A work-load of his/her project,Sub-contracting management (definition, monitoring, acceptance).Knowledge & ExperienceElectrical and electro technique engineering knowledge,Experience in activity management (at least 2 years),Team management (at least 2 years),Train system knowledge,Industrial and manufacturing view in order to better understand his internal clients,Electrical CAD experience (at least 3 years),Fluent English.Team sizeFunctional reports: he/she manages about 3 personsDepending on project number, his/her team can evolve to about 8 personsInnovationForce of proposal for PPL and Processes evolution/improvement.Force of proposal to TCE for functional evolution/correction.Alstom is committed to create a diverse & international working environment, that reflects the future of our industry, our clients and end-users.
