Job Description

Background Skills

To be considered for this position, you must have at least Bachelor s degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience and strong communication stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant test management experience (Automation Drives Domain)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in Global Environment
  • Experience in various test defect management tools (RQM, Polarion, ALM, CQ etc.)
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • ISTQB Advanced certified
Key Tasks Responsibilities
  • Responsible for establishing validation test plan and test schedule in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure test engineers involvement in the early stage of development process to create test specifications.
  • Ensure review and approval of test specification prior to start of the test.
  • Ensure availability of required resources and infrastructure for test.
  • Assign the test cases to relevant test engineers and follow-up for test execution as per agreed schedule.
  • Ensure review and approval of test results.
  • Ensure proper handling of defects found during validation.
  • Participate in core team meetings and CCB meetings.
  • Ensure enough coverage and quality prior to authorization to release.
  • Ensure proper risk management in validation test.
  • Provide periodic status update to stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective use of test processes and tools and drive continual improvement.
