Prioritizes work based on customer impact, and brings expertise to customer site on need basis.Main Responsibility Area:-

  • Leading customer meetings as a Nokia Network representative and providing status reports to customer as per contractual and/or agreed obligations
  • Provides technical network planning & optimization support to assist customers in network
  • rollout/modernization. Prepares/compiles NOKIA product information/configurationsource data.
  • To proactively help Local NPO and Project teams identify and collect required inputs for network planning and optimization tasks
  • Provides project engagement support within a remote delivery framework and ensures that all deliveries strictly adhere to negotiated deadlines.
  • Familiar and up-to-date with latest guidelines, engineering rules on how to dimension and plan various network elements including MSS, MGW, TAS, IMS, SDM
  • Applies Global best practices work instructions/processes/tools ensuring high quality and timely deliveries.
  • Applies knowledge and skills to analyze and resolve complex network problems.
Position Description:-The Core NPO Engineer/Specialist is accountable for solution creation, design & planning, Capacity planning, configuration (Data fills) support for the customer 2G/3G/VoLTE core networks mainly focusing on CS ,IMS, SDM , IP & transport Core Networks.It also involves network performance assessment, audits and network performance enhancements(optimization). Skills:Good Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE/IMS Networks and Call flowsSolution design & Implementation of Core Network ElementsSDM Solution Integration.Subscriber Data base migration of Core NodesExperience of installing HP hardware - inserting in racks, power and network cabling within the rackExperience in Cloud + Virtualization and VNF DeploymentsExperience of Core Nodes on commissioned hardwareExperience in preparation of LLDGood understanding of Call FlowsPosition Requirements:-- Ability to discuss with customer for requirements gathering- Ability to Solution Design Creation for Core products.- Ability to troubleshoot call flow related issues and fixing the same.- Ability to understand the new solutions quickly and delivering the same to Customer.- Solution Deployment and Solution Architecture Creation support.- Strong understanding of Mobile Network (2G, 3G & 4G).- Advanced level on Operating System such as Linux or Solaris.- Experience on networking troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark.- Experience on virtualization - VMWare or Open stack- Ability to work on Automation initiatives.- Ability to play a role of Individual contributor as well as team player based on the project requirements.- Ability to work with both technical and management layers at customer.- Travel availability: 50% of the time on domestic or international travels.- Good Communication Skills.Working with us, you will have a positive impact on people s lives and help to overcome some of the world s most pressing challenges.
