Job Description

About this role:

Full stack software development position responsible for design, implementation, and support of web based applications ( either on IIS or Tomcat) with working experience on any one UI framework like ReactJS/Angular, code behind skill set ( c#, java), working knowledge on one of the RDBMS products like SQL Server to help fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.

What you ll do:

  • Designing, implementing, unit, integration testing and supporting web-based applications and services.
  • Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements
  • Collaborate on architecture and technical design discussions
  • Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications
  • Documenting and review detailed design

What you ll need:

  • Bachelor or master s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of software development.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in software development which includes Web based application development experience.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of development methodologies, standards and design patterns
  • In-Depth knowledge of Web based application development is a must. Area of expertise should cover UI, code behind, scripting and Data structures.
  • Excellent software development and object-oriented design fundamentals with a strong background in architecting software applications
  • Strong foundation on either C# or Java or both(preferable) including following basic web-based architecture.
  • Knowledge on either ReactJS or angular is a plus. Experience in any UI state management services like Redux.
  • Knowledge on Azure app services, Azure fundamentals is a plus.
  • Experience in Dev-Ops on any cloud-based technology like Azure or AWS is a plus
  • Experience in designing or working on Continuous Integration and Deployment pipeline solutions for a project is a big plus.
  • SQL Server or any other related RDBMS knowledge is a must with ability to design data storage solutions or migrate existing solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced and skilled at interacting with Business users
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Knowledge of responsive design, OOP and MVC principles
  • Ability to consume and create REST APIs
  • Experience with version control (git)
  • Exceptional understanding of UI/UX
  • Site optimization, code optimization, caching best practices
  • Experience building applications in the cloud environments preferred
