Job Description

  • Support the Imaging Systems business as an X-Ray Field Service Engineer.
  • This position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Electronic and Mechanical problems of Analytical X-ray Equipment.
  • Install and modify system software as needed for equipment applications.
  • Customer phone assistance for preliminary troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Perform Customer training on the alignment and use of their Analytical Systems.
  • Complete installations of X-ray Generators, Optics, Detections Devices and Cryo systems and the trouble shooting, maintenance and repair of same.
  • Complete and submit a weekly report to the service manager of all customer problems.
  • Applicant should be ready to travel frequently to the clients Location .50 to 60% of the job involves travelling.
  • Must be technically sound on Basics of electronics, and basics of X-ray Application
  • Responsible for timely completion of Installation and commissioning of X-ray Machine. Develop customer relationships for long term engagements. Concentrate on Growth and Profitability to the organization.
