You will also be leading continuous improvement assignments for achieving a lean engineering cycle.Position:Senior Engineering -Proposals & Engineering.Responsibilities:Prepare competitive techno-commercial proposals (fan selection, defining scope of supply, guarantees and cost estimates) to meet customers specifications (needs) on-time.Develop and maintain cost database with an objective of providing competitive costing at the pre-bid stage.Create 3D drawings to draw out manufacturing drawings including bill of materials.Prepare specifications of bought out items.Support manufacturing team to troubleshoot non-conformities, in the eventuality of such occurancesActive participation in continous improvement and new product development.Qualification:Degree or Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringExeperience:5 To 7 Years experience in rotating equipment selections and techno-commercial discussionsExperience of applying Rotating equipment performance testing standards, particularly aerodynamicFamiliarity with processes & practices in steel, cement, power.3D drafting skills in Autocad, Solid Edge, Inventor & Ansys.Good communication skills (proficiency in Hindi will be an added advantage)Location:Chennai,Tamilnadu.
