Job Description

Danfoss looking for an Senior Engineer - Quality Testing with hands on experience into drive quality improvement in production to ensure stable output and reduce scrap and rework. Job Expectation:

  1. Drive quality improvements in production to ensure stable output and reduce scrap and rework
  2. Ensure quality systems and standards are in place and make sure they are followed
  3. Help to protect customers against failures in the problem solving process (internal /external)
  4. Participate in the Continuous Improvement process to support the execution of improvement projects and improve Good manufacturing practice document for internal and partners
  5. Ensure fact based data analysis, so the organization is able to make the right priorities of quality projects
  6. Manage a team of shop floor technicians
Success Criteria:
  1. Quality processes within own manufacturing unit executed in compliance with customer specific requirements, ISO 9001 Danfoss Drives Management system
  2. Own responsibility to continuously improving performance to meet the quality objectives and targets
  3. Strong Customer focus, shall protect non- conforming products to enter the market
  4. The employees in the area has a strong quality mindset, competencies and customer focus
  5. Front line passion, Think Danfoss behavior to be demonstrated without reminder.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor of Electrical, Electronics Engineering with 10 year experience in VFD and control panel testing
  2. Knowledge in Panel quality inspection and wiring Mechanical Electrical inspection
  3. Control logics testing and trouble shooting
  4. Lead Customer complaint and supplier quality CAPA handling with right stake holders in team
  5. Excellent communication skills to handle customer inspection
  6. Experience in handling consultants requirements EIL, NTPC etc
  7. Work with supplier to meet quality delivery and develop them
  8. Awareness of ISO 9001 is mandatory IATF 16949 is an added advantage
  9. Proficiency in English, Tamizh, Hindi (added advantage)
  10. Monthly metrics reporting on quality issues and data analysis
  11. Need to be a team player and voluntary support to team success
  12. Weekend participation to complete the projects and delivery on time without hesitance
