Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Managing the Vehicle Evaluation process for personal segment programs.
  • Establish & Support delivery of Vehicle Attribute Targets for Programs.
  • Establish & Maintain Vehicle Development Program Meeting for Programs.
  • Establish Vehicle Evaluation plans (methods & timings).
  • Define and Deliver Vehicle Development Attribute Targets for Programs.
  • Support in palnning and execution of program drive events.
  • Manage Attribute Trade-off Process with Vehicle Development Engineers.
  • Manage cross functional issues until the correct fix PD team has been identified.
  • Ensure Vehicle Attribute Targets are within the Affordable Business Structure (ABS).
  • Review all Attribute Requirements with Vehicle Development Project Engineers.
  • Provide Drive Evaluations & Jury Evaluation consistent with MPDS Gateways.
  • Conduct Fresh eye reviews of all the new launches in Indian Market Ensure Vehicle Development involvement in Test & Development planning (& plans) for all Attributes.

  • Good driving and vehicle evaluation skills -Capable Vehicle Evaluator (able to coach).
  • Experience and exposure to vehicle Instrumentation for measurements, Equipment and facilities (accelerometers, force gauges, K&C, Inertial Measurement Platform, Instrumented Handling, NHTSA Fishhook Testing, Ride Roads & Handling Roads).
  • Experience in final tuning phases.
  • Excellent Project management and time management skills.
  • Multiple projects and program experience. T
  • eaching/mentoring Skills. Understands Product Development Process
