Job Description

  • Position Details Position Sr Engineer-Electronics and IoT systems Design Place of Posting MRV, Chennai Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Core Skillset:
  • IoT and Embedded Systems: New product, Concept design, Development and field deployments
  • Proven expertise in IoT platforms and Cloud: Raspberry Pi and Aurduino, Amazon Web Services (AWS ) & Microsoft Azure
  • Deep understanding of Hardware, Firmware, Software and Cloud infrastructure integration specific to IoT applications.
  • Firmware programming : C/C++ and assembly
  • Microcontrollers: 16/32 Bit of leading semiconductors (ARM Cortex series, TI MSP430, Microchip PIC and AVR series)
  • Electronics Product Design, Embedded Systems, Analog & Digital Electronics Design
  • Wireless Technologies: WiFi, GSM/GPRS, LoRa and Zigbee/BLE wireless technologies, Wireless Sensors Network (WSN)
  • Communication protocols (incl.CAN, SPI, MQTT, COAP, SMQP)
  • Low power and Battery operated design. EMI/EMC compliance
  • Experience in the application of various types of sensors, hardware interfaces, data acquisition systems, PAN, WLAN, WSN communication standards, layers, protocols stacks and their integrationProtocols:
  • Sensors: Physical, Chemical, Mechanical
  • Actuators: Solenoid valves, Relays, HVAC and other high current/voltage applications
  • Job Requirements Experience (years) 5 - 7 Yrs Industry Preferred Mechatronics, Automotive, Embeeded Systems, Electronics Design, RF/Wireless, Battery/Low power Qualification Bachelor s or Masters degree: Electronics Communication, Telecom, Instrumentation, Mechatronics and Process control Personality Traits Competencies #Self starter, Ability to work with minimal resources.
  • Independent, delivery focussed, able to adhere to processes & deadlines
  • Pro-active, resourceful & willing to find solutions with least guidance
  • Execution and field support from pilot to commercial adoption.
  • Involving in evaluation of new solutions for integration into the IoT Roadmap/Strategy.
  • Experience of working with international market/clients
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams globally, assimilating requirements, driving results in the form of advertiser insights and building strategic partnerships
