Exp:5-10 yrs Health, Safety and Envoronmnet Officer(Site Safety Officer) Anywhere in India and Abroad Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering or Relevant Degree of HSE from reputed university / college. Expected Work Experience Minimum 5 Years to 10 Years of relevant experience in with Large scale organization. Preferred industry Pharmaceutical (API Formulation) / Chemical and Agrochemical Expected Competencies Health, Safety Environment Management Execution Excellence Familiar Standards CGMP, USFDA, ASME, ANSI, SMACNA, ISO. Key Responsibilities: Managing Health, Safety Environment in construction field of Food industries, Pharma plant, API Plant Agrochemical Industries. Preparing on site emergency action plane and its compliances Creating effective procedures for the preparation and implementation of programs within the area of industrial safety, health and the environment Developing project baselines while monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects Supporting the development and realization of a Zero Incident Culture in a way that serious injuries are prevented and best in class HSE performance is achieved Motivating and encouraging management and workers in their efforts to reduce the number of occupational safety and health hazards at workplace Collaborating with Government agencies Making SOP for Fire Fighting Equipment Safety Equipments Identifying HSE needs for new projects mobilization, ensure and procure necessary resources required for implementing HSE management systems To be fully conversant with clients Health, Safety and Environment documents and emergency procedure. represent the organization in various HSE meetings. Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly HSE report. Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly safety statistics report. To implement emergency response plans. Selection inspection of Personal Protective Equipment. Monitoring all procedures of construction and electrical safety. Maintaining records of all executed works on day-to-day basis. To report accidents /near miss to client and to Top management of the organization. Formulate, implement improve near miss reporting system. Ensure all personnel are educated in fire prevention practices and the use of fire extinguishing equipment. Conduct monthly safety meeting with the representative of workmen on a regular basis to promote safety awareness among employees. Ensure that safe and healthy working environment for employees is to be maintained at all times, including vehicle safety. Responsible to correct any, unsafe act and unsafe condition. Provide appropriate safety and Protective equipment to all employees at work site and to ensure that the equipment provided must be properly used. Maintain the all equipment check list and record. Ensuring and regular monitoring of critical Areas, which are, leads to more dangerous. Review work permits system and maintain the record. Carry out the regular inspection at site to ensure the safety Implementations. Participate in the development of the site EHS Induction Program For personnel coming to site, and present this induction Training. HSE Co Ordination at different stages to implement and monitor effectiveness of health and safety management system. The periodic review of the construction safety and health plan and advice updates as necessary. Review and comment on all Contractors Job Safety Manual. Risk Assessments and Method Statements and ensure they are filed and recorded. Oversee and manage the Permit to Work Procedure. Audit and monitor all Contractor EHS Programmers. Advise the Construction Manager, Construction Engineers and Construction of any shortfalls and Provide specialist support. Ensure Fire. First aid. Emergency Spill and Security procedures are maintained and training provided if necessary. Review Contractors compliance with the requirements. Monitor the Construction Safety and Health plan objectives and periodically report. Organize and participate in weekly safety tour. Ensure the requirements of the Projects Health, Safety and Environmental Policies are being effectively applied. Review Lock out Tag out (LOTO), Inspection and Audit.
