The Role We are seeking an innovative and creative RF Hardware & Systems Developer to join our team in Waterloo. This position will primarily involve developing RF system solutions for our ultra-low power wireless communication integrated circuits.Why Join Us We create a diverse set of world-class products in a friendly and team-oriented atmosphere.     • Contribute to RF specification and development of hardware and systems for wireless applications
    • Evaluate RF system level performance of IC (Integrated Circuits) and SiP (System in a Package)
    • Perform optimization for RF components of IC, SiP and boards (antenna, matching network, tuning software parameters, etc)
    • Support RF certification of IC and SiP
    • Contribute to Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) schematic designs and layout for reference designs, evaluation and demo boards
    • Develop test automation for RF performance evaluation
    • Support production test development of SiP modules and boards
    • Provide technical content for end user documentation
    • Support customer issues or requests
    , * What You ll Need
    • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, System Engineering, or related discipline
    • 5+ years of experience in a related technical field including 2 years of experience in the field of RF hardware design and testing
    What Else You May Bring
    • Knowledge of RF system architectures, blocks, components and board design
    • Knowledge of wireless standards including Bluetooth
    • Expertise with RF measurement equipment
    • Experience with automated data acquisition systems using scripting languages such as Python
    • General hands-on soldering & debug skills for board bring up etc
    • Experience with firmware development and C programming is an asset
    • Familiarity/experience with ADS or other RF simulation tools is an asset
    • Ability to learn quickly
    • Good problem solving skills
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Interest or experience with the semiconductor industry
    • Experience in developing solutions to quality-driven processes or standards
