As a team member of Release & Change Management , you will have to : Support & keep track of the application releases for all WMIS applications across multiple sites. Own & manage the BAU activities of release and change management including user support queries, review of Releases and Change Requests based on the criteria defined in WMIS Release Management process Audit release quality gates to check the entry and exit criteria of software/application code progression from one environment to another are met as defined in the WMIS Release Management process Review and approve releases ensuring that the release data quality is acceptable as defined in Release process document Ensure the release calendar is updated every day with quality data Support Release Manager in preparation of the monthly business release steerco Identify risks & issues and escalate timely to Release Manager with impact analysis. Administer Serena Release Manager (Serena Release Control) from UI Co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists. Ensure the release KPIs are met Continually work with Release Manager towards making improvements in the release processTechnical & Behavioral CompetenciesQualification & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT Overall 5-7 years of Release or Change management coordinating experience. Good knowledge in Development life cycles and test life cycles Good understanding of test environment management Good understanding of Incident, Problem & Patch management Good understanding of SDLC and Project Management principlesEssential Technical Knowledge/Skills :Technical skills Proficiency LevelITIL practices StrongService Now or Equivalent StrongMS Excel & PowerPoint StrongMicrofocus Release Control or any Release management tool IntermediateJIRA IntermediateDatabase(SQL/Oracle/PLSQL) BasicSharePoint BasicConfluence BasicCloud Basic (optional)Mandatory Strong critical thinker with problem solving approach.
