Responsibilities: Roles those are responsible for direct or indirect leadership and/or management ofproject resources. Leading the construction Works, methods and operations, sampling and site activities inorder to verify their compliance with the Contract As necessary prepare and issue detailed snag/defect/outstanding works reports/listsVerifying the manufactures certificate and independent tests and maintaining orderly andComplete records. Examining, measuring, and testing materials and plant beforeincorporating in the works. Coordinate/liaise with consultants for any queries, conflicts, omissions, discrepancies, ordeficiencies in the design documentation, to ensure suitable revisions or other additionalinformation is provided to the Contractor to complete the Works. Prepare Daily/Monthly progress reports. Review of Contractors construction schedule.Inspecting testing as described in the Specifications, drawings and driving the Contractoracceptability of the test results including recommendations on any deficiencies in the testresults. Review and comment on the contractors proposed layout plan for all temporary Sitefacilities including checking the access, temporary structures, locations of offices, yardsas well as waste disposal plans for all temporary facilities throughout the Project period. Leading site meeting for all relevant parties to discuss and agree on process and protocolsnecessary for the effective and efficient control and supervision of the construction phaseof the project. Maintaining a list of outstanding works indicating the dates of completing each and everyactivities and providing the same to the Contractor Obtain a written undertaking from the Contractor to complete any outstanding workduring the Defect liability period. Review of all warranties, guarantees and all other relevant documents related tomaterials and workmanship of the Construction Contract and provide feedback to theManagement. Prepare and issue Hand over Certificate in coordination with the PMC after ensuring thatall the pre-requisites for project taking over stipulated in the Construction contract isfulfilled by the Contractor. Verifying that the Contractor is constantly complying with the Safety measures neededby the work man and site staff and ensuring all construction activities are performed inaccordance with the method statement and risk assessments.Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree (Civil) from an accredited university or collegewith 10 to 15 years of experience in Healthcare Construction works.Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to influence others and lead Contractors Effective problem identification and solution skills Proven analytical and organizational ability Should have adequate knowledge in Quality and Safety and compliance practices.Location: ChennaiIf interested, pls write to priyap@livecjobs.com
