The Project Management Analyst is responsible for supporting workflows and projects aimed at initiating, scoping and authorizing documents from clients. These documents are mostly transmission of various healthcare documents including lab results, imaging results, patient demographics, charges, appointments and prescriptions between athena, clients and trading partners. The Project Management Analyst will maintain relationships with vendors, clients and other athena teams to validate and triage tasks and assign to internal teams based on the requirement from clients. The Project Management Analyst maintains appropriate quality standards and ensures that there are minimal errors or escalations in the process or project handled by them. This position reports directly to the Associate Manager, Project Management in Chennai. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): Analyzing and working on related work queues, including requests from clients for integrations with medical facilities and healthcare vendors and moving the requests to the appropriate downstream teams Communicating with labs, hospitals, IT vendors, pharmacies and athena stakeholders to convey project status and timelines Managing a high volume of projects and maintain priorities Developing a comprehensive understanding of athenahealths healthcare transactions and how relationships between teams and their workflows influence complex problem solving Scoping, analyzing and validating data for project requirements. Tasks / Projects are triaged to internal teams for further processing. Training new hires and possible refresher sessions Maintaining SOP documents Engagement and active participation in athenahealths teaching and learning culture Additional ad hoc projects as business needs arise Skills Required Graduate in engineering, science, or commerce stream Fluency in both spoken and written English Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to ensure substantial overlap with US-based teams (Evening/Night) shift timings Good communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with members of geographically disparate teams in India and other geographies across athena Excellent customer service skills and professionalism to effectively manage communication Analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Should be able to work using MS Office and the ability and desire to advance ones technical skill set Personal and professional drive to succeed Passion for both teaching and learning Creative and inquisitive demeanor Flexibility to adapt to change in a rapidly expanding and fast paced company Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative environment Preferred Skill 2-4 years work experience within US health care framework Willingness to lead and contribute in group discussion and problem-solving setting About athenahealth Heres our v ision: To create a thriving ecosystem that delivers accessible, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare for all.
