Amazons sizzling double-digit growth in business ensures that there is never a dull moment!Catalog Support and Operations (CSO) team under ASCS owns the charter of providing program management, schema and rules configuration, ticket support, and operational support for the catalog systems that spans across catalog systems and tools worldwide. We own governance and implementation of business logic and configurations for these services and systems. We increase selection by on-boarding new vendors, integrating new catalog feeds, and by configuring new marketplace, merchant, and category setups. We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented, innovative Program Manager to manage the business rules configurations and migration activities.Core responsibilities and Key Performance Areas- The Program Manager will be responsible for migrating feeds to the latest industry standard by working directly with business worldwide and technical teams.- The individual will interface and drive agenda with technical teams to build scalable solutions and in addition, he/she will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security and integrity of Amazon s systems and data.- The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in virtual teams to align and work towards common business goals, demonstrating business acumen and skills in driving change by developing business proposals and driving implementation of recommendations through effective written and oral communication- Makes recommendations that are backed by sound rationale and relevant data- Builds and scales process-related solutions that have metric impact through multiple projects and automation; drives adoption of solutions across teams- Defines clear and detailed specifications for tool/feature changes and works with technical teams to prioritize effectivelyThe successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels of detail to accomplish team/organization goals. The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand Amazon s core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices. He/She should adapt easily to fast paced, rapidly growing environment offering new challenges and opportunities for making impactful changes in the Amazon ecosystem, - Bachelor s degree Preferably engineering degree with 4-7 years of experience in Program Management of which minimum 3 years in interacting with global customers/stakeholders- Experience in translating business needs into detailed feature requirements, data analysis and business case development, and managing programs from concept to implementation- Business acumen and skills in driving change by developing business proposals and driving implementation of recommendations through effective written and oral communication- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with cross-functional teams- Ability to think both strategically and tactically and to drive execution. Should be equally comfortable with long term planning and day to day progress tracking and execution- Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast paced environment - Advanced degree (MBA) or equivalent professional experience- 4+ years of experience in eCommerce/Hi-tech/Retail industry or management consulting with focus on program management- Technical skills including scripting (Perl, shell scripts, JavaScript) a sound understanding of web technologies. Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system and programming languages such as Java or C++ and SQL.- Background in analysis of large volume of data to drive analysis and to make decisions- Fluency and comfort with business applications such as Word, Excel and Project
