Title : Process Automation Engineer- 1503160 Location : Europe- India- India- Chennai Qualification Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering or Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Instrumentation & Process Controls Engineering Job Description Primary Responsibilities: Lead process control team(s) responsible for implementation of process control solutions to capture improvement opportunities. Set aggressive project improvement goals, and plan, track and drive the implementation team to achieve those goals. Coach and mentor team members in the effective use of Six Sigma methodologies, Company project work processes and reducing variability of project deliverables. Developing process control strategies for process technologies. Programming of control applications for various distributed control systems. Writing simulation applications in order to verify functionality of the control program and for training plant operators. Participate in project commissioning and startup activities, including tuning of control loops. Deliver value to Company businesses through effective use of Six Sigma methodologies, asset utilization and project work processes. Lead process control improvement investigation team(s) as per Companys work process methodology. Deliver the identified value, and meet the agreed upon project milestones. Some domestic and international travel may be required. Must be willing to work on projects at different geographies / locations Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering / Instrumentation and Process Controls Engineering Broad knowledge and skills in all aspects of Process Control Engineering with a minimum of 5 years in a process control role. Production experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Control system migration project experience is preferred. In depth knowledge of applying distributed control systems concepts on platforms such as (ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Foxboro) Certified 6 Sigma Green Belt is preferred, but not required.
