Middleware Technical LeaderLocation Remote MexicoPosting date 6 hours ago(6/1/2021 6:25 AM)Job ID 87139 Category Consulting Job summary Red Hats Services team is looking for a Middleware Technical Leader to support our application services projects efforts in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will lead one of the main components of our portfolio. You ll work toward coordinating the component architecture with the other consultants to build a single portfolio. As a Middleware Technical Leader, you will deliver and specialize the portfolio approach to the various teams solving our customers needs. Primary job responsibilities

• Serve as a technical mentor to the consultants, providing relevant information on the conduct of the work, providing access to the documentation relevant to the reference technologies
• Be aware of trends in Red Hat s technologies and competitive offerings considering their strengths and weaknesses, service opportunities, and value propositions and how they compare with Red Hats suite of offerings and our associates
• Provide technical assistance in solving problems or improving solutions or research
• Lead workshops and initiatives on the Towers technologies to provide enablement for Red Hatters and our partners
• Engage the training paths of Tower consultants to achieve training and certification goals.
• Provide strategic and growth planning
• Organize a directory on Google drivers delivery, including templates, issues, and worksheets
• Receive and track all issues of deliveries
• Identify enablement needs
• Encourage and identify projects that can increase the expertise of each professional
• Guide and standardize how we should resort to aid at Red Hat
• Accompany each professional in their respective project
• Ensure that every professional has access to the necessary resources
• Ensure that consultants have privileged access to Bugzilla
• Ensure that consultants know how to handle cases
• Ensure that consultants are registered on the relevant lists - satellite-tech for Red Hat Satellite, idm-tech for Red Hat Identity Management (IDM)
• Ensure that consultants know possible ways to access the support structure
• Ensure access to the Ravello (laboratory) for situations involving upgrades in critical environments and reference architectures
• Interact with the Sales team and the Project Management Office (PMO) to understand pipeline projects and their conduct
• Take care of career development and people management needs

Required skills

• 6+ years of experience working in a solutions architect or enterprise architect role with enterprise applications
• Solid background in consultative customer engagement with a major professional services organization or within the services division of a major software company
• Proven record of working as a strategic adviser to senior IT and business executives
• Broad and deep technical experience with enterprise middleware and application technologies, e.g., Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Application Services, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, etc.
• Experience with and domain expertise in rules engines, business process management (BPM) platforms, enterprise service buses, portals, etc.
• Experience with on-premises, hybrid cloud and multicloud and public cloud architectures
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms
• Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
• Proven ability to work seamlessly with global, cross-functional teams to achieve success for customers
• Solid balance of strategic and tactical skills; great creative thinking skills
• Agile and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certifications are a plus
