Job Description

. Job description

  • Independently lead and manage staff to achieve targets and maintain proper inventory controls
  • Ensure robust processes are in place to achieve control over all inventory in the base as well as all equipment movements in and out of the base
  • Ensure continuous material flow in and out of the workshop to achieve zero down time
  • Ensure all materials are inspected for transportation damages upon receipt at the base and non-conformances are highlighted and recorded accordingly
  • Ensure that material records are accurately complied and maintained
  • Ensure material movement/storage equipment and hardware are maintained and safe for use
  • Ensure efficient use of TechnipFMC resources in order to ensure customer success
  • Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics processes are in place
  • Aware of TechnipFMC requirements and customer requirements with regards material handling and storage to ensure they are met
  • Work across Value stream to ensure internal and external customer requests are fulfilled
You are meant for this job if you have:
  • Degree in Supply chain management or equivalent
  • Substantial Supervisory or Management Experience and previous experience of managing a warehousing logistics function in an oil and gas environment
  • Experience with Subsea equipment maintenance or installation
  • SAP Material Transaction competency (essential)
  • Ability to lead deployment of warehousing technology and infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of warehousing and logistics best practices
  • Experience with operating Material handling equipment Forklift, stacker
  • Good understanding of offshore/field operational requirements
  • Ability to mentor staff and ensure consistent development of team
