Danfoss is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who can responsible for Sourcing & Purchase and Material planning in factory. Responsibilities : Responsible for Segment Procurement and material Planning in factory Developing new suppliers with best CQD Vendor Assessment for Business forecast Supporting Project business with best source of one time supplier Contractual management with Vendors High experience in dealing with Electrical & Power electronics Products Localization of components to improve Cost and Delivery Ensure raw material availability in factory on- time and in right quantity Ensure finished goods delivery to customer on right time and right quantity Secure supplier capacity to ensure that the suppliers have right capacity and competency Work along with production, Engineering and quality teams to ensure supplier performance Excellent in maintaining good professional relationship with suppliers Exposure with import and export procedures Strong experience in working with Indian and Global suppliers Secure Competencies and development in the team Negotiate and finalize lead times and MOQs with supplier to have best total cost Develop and optimize Inbound logistics processes Ensure freight optimization to secure cost savings in inbound Secure documentation of processes, evaluation and development, development cross plants, development across business units and across other industrial areas and secure best practice. Establish close cooperation with the suppliers, work with continues improvements, processes optimization, develop business tools, etc. Close cooperation will bring short lead- times, high availability and the best total cost. Lead or participate in local and global projects Responsible for driving the development for the inbound supplier category in all logistic terms and do this together with the other members of the category board. Responsible for SLA negotiation and finalization with suppliers. Secure Production planning & Production development, Enclosed Drives flexible Manufacturing environment Participate in the global management team, participate in the factory management team, work cross functional, focus on establishing a close cooperation between you and your counterpart in other AC factories Leading the logistics team (inbound and production planning team) Required co- operation with global teams like Demand planning, S&OP and fulfillment team In- house capacity planning along with team Responsible for overall plant inventory and optimizing the RM inventory Responsible to provide update to local and global management about factory performance (inventory, production reliability, customer orders, supplier issues etc. ) Ensure to achieve customer and supplier availability Capacity planning in factory Should be able to work in Matrix organization Requirements Minimum Engineering graduate with 15+ years of experience, Preferable with AC Panel divisions PG MBA added advantage Worked in automotive or manufacturing environment MS- Excel, Strong SAP MM working knowledge Strong analytical & negotiation skills Good communication skills Good leadership skills .,
