Job Description

Purpose of the JobPlan for international circuit delivery and disconnection as per agreed SLA by ensuring resource availability by effective co-ordination with capacity managers and international vendorsDeliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities) Major Challenges :

  1. Plan for delivery of circuits on time as per agreed SLA by effective co-ordination with stake holders and partners
  2. Ensure that disconnection of circuits and periodic updation of Inventory database
  3. Ensure testing is done as per agreed service standards
  4. Prepare provisioning reports and ensure accuracy .
  5. Execute rerouting of circuits during major failures as per business requirements
  6. Monitor inventory availability and communicate to respective teams for resource buildup
  7. Update inventory and circuits in M6 database and ensure reconciliation process in done
  8. Prepare Portfolio report for provisioning and ensure accuracy
Decision level Prime: Final Decision Making authority, accountable to the ManagementShared: Decisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis
  1. Restoration plan during crisis
  2. Handover issues related to service delivery
  3. Diversity to customer circuits
Contributory: Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others
  1. Providing best route path details to Sales/ project teams before implementation
  2. Reversion of circuits after cables system failure rectification
Demonstrate (Key competencies)
  • Good understanding of SDH , OTN, DWDM and Networking technologies and exposure in NOC service delivery process and familiarity in O&M
  • Good communication skills and command in English to co-ordinate with international providers
  • Sound understanding of International service delivery standards and international networking
  • Familiarity with database management systems like Metasolv etc.
  • Familiarity with Alcatel, Ciena equipmen like DWDM , dxc and drop Muxes
