Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Creating full vehicle runnable crash FE models and simulate crash tests frontal, side ,rear, pedestrain etc using CAE softwares like LSDYNA, Hypermesh, Lsprepost,Primer etc
  • Understanding of the vehicle crash behavior and work on the optimum durable design/ recommend design modification to improve Crash performance with minimum mass
  • Suggest modification to make design red to green with iterations in given time with collaboration.
  • Able to mentor one or two fresh PGETs in conductiong crash DVP simulations
  • crash test data analyses and suggest improvement in Crash CAE to Test Correlation
  • Experience in project Planning & Prioritizing, allocation of resources, adhearing to the project timelines etc
  • Good at communication , negotiation , interpersonal relationships, Motivation
Experience3 to 6YrsIndustry PreferredQualificationsM tech, preferably from IITs (with Gate Score > 90%)General Requirements
  • Competencies Basic Finite Element Analysis(FEA) knowledge & Strong Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals
  • Highly competent on the Crash Analysis Technology related to US, European, Australian and Indian Crash standards
  • Knowledge of Non-linear, Dynamic, Explicit FE-Analysis, Time Step Considerations, Materials, Elements, Mass Scaling, Energy Balance
  • Hourglassing, connections, boundary conditions, etc. Good knowledge of debugging dyna decks
