IntroductionThe infrastructure running industries likes transportation, energy, insurance, banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world s relationship with technology evolves. Companies have more choices than ever before between on-premise, off-premise, or a hybrid approach. Our Infrastructure Architects are responsible for keeping up with the latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.Your Role and Responsibilities Activities performed by the Infrastructure Architect will include:

• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs from the client
• Ascertaining the feasibility and compliance of the solution
• Preparing the SWOT analyses of IBM solution Vs Competition for an RFP.
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and internal/external partners to understand scope, expectations, technical content and business processes.
• Analyze customer needs and designs the integration technical solutions that will best meet those needs.
• Lead meetings with account teams, vendors and customers(ext./int) to ensure proper communication of the 1) project status 2) technical issues including resolutions and 3) ensure testing progress as expected.
• Gather and review available requirements and system properties to understand detailed technical needs to enable integrations.
• Communicate technology, timelines, and architectures to stake holders to ensure the integrations are meeting requirements and stake holder expectations.
• Design and propose new architecture elements for integrations where appropriate.
• Negotiate with customers and internal teams to meet requirements, technology constraints and timelines.
• Create foundation documents to support integration: design method, format, connectivity (network), mapping and business rules.
• Provide cost input for integration solutions as required.
• Act as primary customer interface and SME during transition, requirements gathering and testing.
• Facilitate lessons learned feedback is captured to drive long term internal improvements and better architectural methods supporting the continuous improvement of Integration Services.
• work with IBMs internal offering management team to utilize intellectual capital from field experience to develop repeatable, standard service offerings around software-defined networking.
• work with IBMs internal product and services development teams to define and implement automated orchestration and system management solutions for software-defined networking infrastructures.
• anticipate technology and market trends to help influence network services offerings strategy.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 10+ years of Telco Industry experience , experience in routers and switches within the Data Center involving Telco use cases like VM redundancy, VM Migration using SDN Controller Overlay and Underlay Networking.
• Proven Telco domain expertise of MPLS enterprise networks and understanding of different flavours of VPNs like Mobile Core Networks like EPC / Volte.
• 10+ years of Network architecture design experience involving IP Protocols
• Solid understanding of EVPNs, VxLANs, Pseudowires, L2Circuits, VPLS.
• Proven SDN (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia Nuage, Arista) technical knowledge and experience, should know the differences between these solutions.
• Deep understanding of integration of SDN Controller with OpenStack and Use Cases evolvable therefrom.
• IP expertise IPv4/v6 Routing (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPBGP), MPLS, Segment Routing (+SRv6)
• Expertise in the following: - Agile development methods Experience with Python and Bash
