Job Description

Dimensions of this Role

  • The jobholder has to identify target companies (pan-India) in the chosen Industry sectors. Also, monitor closely about new global corporations entering Indian market and explore business opportunity
  • Understand thoroughly clientrsquos needs and expectations. Add value to client by sharing market trends and developments
  • The jobholder is responsible for quality and productivity improvement targets.
  • The jobholder is responsible for topline and bottomline of the practice.
  • The jobholder is responsible for maintaining good relations with Industry bodies/Associations. Regularly participate in conferences and network with potential clients.
  • The jobholder is responsible for preparing regular Industry updates
  • The direct reportees of the job holder are Associate / Senior Associate (Delivery).
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify target companies and meet the top management representatives of the said potential client and present Proximarsquos capability in Executive search services. Understand clientrsquos unique and critical requirements. Counsel them on market trend and align their requirement accordingly. Document and record clientrsquos requirement by way of search brief and get clientrsquos formal approval for the same, which include timeline for delivery as well.
  • The jobholder to regular prepares sectoral trends, issues, and challenges and shared with key clientele.
  • The jobholder will lead the delivery by closely working with his/her team members (Delivery associates) to identify appropriate and meet clientrsquos requirement within the agreed timelines.
  • As Head of the Practice, the Job holder would be responsible for monthly and annual business targets which include - topline and profitability targets.
  • Ensure leadership position in the identified market segment within the said timeframe.
  • Consistency in meeting timeline and quality targets with respect to delivery.
  • Ensuring process compliance with respect to sign-up, delivery, and collection.
  • Ensuring client and candidate confidentiality compliance.
  • Devise plans and strategies to attract, develop and retain the best available talent. The jobholder is responsible to constantly assess the manpower requirements of the plant and initiate actions to recruit the best talent

  • Selling Skills: The ability to communicate convincingly and to understand customers needs and offering solutions by highlighting benefits. It also involves in having an interest in the customers and giving follow up services.
  • Service Orientation: Implies a desire to identify and serve customers/clients, who may include the public, colleagues, partners (e.g. Non-government organizations, voluntary social workers, etc.), co-workers, peers, branches, ministries/agencies and other government organizations. It means focusing ones efforts on discovering and meeting the needs of the customer/client.
  • Negotiation skills: It is the ability to clearly state ones requirement, expectations and get the best possible deal by creating mutually acceptable solutions. It also needs the ability to understand the other parties needs and concern and being able to apply pressure tactfully when required in order get ones objective through.
  • Ownership of work: This competency deals with the ability to perform above and beyond the call of duty; to do others work if they feel that the organizations goal is getting affected; to work with as much dedication as if the organization is his own baby.
