Job Description

  • Business Analysis, Functional Requirements
  • Work with stakeholders in FX Sales, Payments, Operations, Finance, Technology and PMO to run meetings, coordinate and plan projects in Foreign Exchange & Payments space
  • Understand current business process and provide functional design inputs for the proposed technology solution
  • Planning, estimating, managing risks and issues, project reporting, managing stakeholders, and building strong relationships with the business
  • Create high quality documentation for Business and Functional Requirements
  • Analyze huge data sets, create flow diagrams, prepare high level summaries and workflows
  • Work in close co-ordination with the development leads on enhancements and defects, and assist with troubleshooting / resolution of application bugs and business value added
  • Engaging successfully with software developers and testers to ensure quality delivery, on time
  • Assist in project execution through JIRA, providing tracking to technical teams and status updates to internal and business stakeholders
  • Subject Matter Expertise / Technology Partnership:
  • Shape the strategic architecture for the FX/Payments application by working closely with the Corporate FX Sales, Cross Border Payments Business and Development leads and define solutions that are robust and aligned with Citi s technology roadmap
  • Develop best practices to be used in evaluating, selecting and implementing technologies for use within FXLM Technology more broadly
  • Monitor new developments in data visualization and analysis technology across ICG and in the industry more generally, and provide recommendations about new technology adoption
, Knowledge/Experience:
  • About 15-20 years experience as Subject Matter Expert in Cross Border Payments, Foreign Exchange and Technology Delivery Manager with any Global Bank/ IT Major
  • At least 15 years overall experience working in a Financial Services industry
  • Should understand end to end workflow of Cross Border Payments viz. Payment Origination(Client Portal), FX Pricing, Credit Limits, Operations Processing, SWIFT Messaging, Nostro Reconciliation and Payments Regulatory Reporting
  • Exposure to International Payment Systems Fed Wire, Chips, SEPA, TARGET 2
  • Exposure to Payments specific to Industry, Segment & Flows e.g. Payroll, Public Affairs Companies, Nostro Payments, Ride Hailing Companies
  • Exposure to Sanctions Screening & AML Compliance process
  • Exposure to Distributed Ledger Technology / Block Chain
  • Familiarity with SDLC - Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to budgeting, people management and general project management principles
  • Should have handled a team of 50 or more
  • Strong academic record ideally with a Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline from a top tier University or equivalent master s degree (MBA) with specialization in Finance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to transform business requirements into precise functional/technical specifications
  • Strong analysis skills; ability to troubleshoot data quality issues
  • Ability to work as part of various teams and under pressure
  • Able to prioritize conflicting tasks, identifying what is essential and focusing on such
  • Positive attitude, hard-working and ability to take initiative
  • PMP/Agile/PRINCE 2 Certification
