SLM provides high-level fault management and technical support to other functions, such as performance reporting and configuration management, and includes troubleshooting, diagnostics and support for field maintenance to resolve problems. Where necessary, remote restoration of network elements will be done.Job Responsibilities & CompetenciesCandidates must have at least 7+ years of Telecom experience with strong Transmission background.Expert in Optic Network technology - DWDM, OTN, OCH & ASON concepts.Excellent knowledge & Experience of Nokia1830PSS & Ciena 6500 DWDM nodes.A good understanding and Worked intensively on L0, L1, L2 & L3 Layers.FM L2 will be responsible for Handling ticket / assignment to L3/ prioritization/ escalation/ tracking/ closure and feedback as per defined SLA in the SOW.Woked in ITSM tool like Remedy/Netcool and other customer specific tools.Preparing Incident report / RCA / Knowledge Articles /Lesson learning etc.He / She should follow ITIL process for resolving technical issues and follow the defined processes (SOPs/SOWs) while attempting to resolve the incidents.Maintain, audit and compliance actions of the network HLD, LLD always.Proactive tracking of the system capacity utilization, impact risk, closure action plan agreement and governance escalation wherever needed.Control and own monthly Improvement plans. Regularly monitor and add actions in the Improvement plan based on regular governance & customer escalations.Problem-solving skill in Multi Domain & Multi-Vendor Transport Architecture.Provide 24/7 support on telecom network elements.Sound knowledge on the Transport KPIs/SLA s.Strong interpersonal skills are a prerequisite.Imagine creating technology that has the potential to change the world.
