Job Description

    Role Description:
    • Manage purchasing/planning activities and inventory processes through approved vendors while maintaining high quality and low costs in the current manufacturing practices environment.
    • The right candidate will need to possess the drive and interpersonal skills to resolve common conflicts experienced through transformation, help evolve the team and platform while constantly driving business value in a dynamic and hyper-fast environment.
    • They also manage vendor and supplier relations for Pricing, purchase order deliveries, invoicing, complaints, non-conforming material, and Service Agreements.
    • This role supports US and EMEA contracts.
    Equipment and Buying
    • Determine the required materials and generating purchase orders.
    • Ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
    • Ensure consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
    • Coordinate production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc. with other departments.
    • Track production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
    • Schedule and oversee supply and delivery of materials and products.
    • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
    • Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
    • Prepare cost estimates and performance reports.
    • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
    • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
    • Address Planning & Buying-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
    • Coordinate the customer projects with their needs & deliverable. Report of forecasts/Demand and inventory KPIs.
    • Drive the forecasts and act as a single point of contact for meetings.
    • Follow inventory level and improvement plans.
    • Pull items from proper locations and prepare them for customer shipment.
    • Responsible for the inventory available in warehouse to fulfill the customer requirement.
    • Perform inventory outlook & excess and obsolete inventory value.
    • Communicate the product inventory strategies (high runners, new products, substitutions, end life) to the Supply Planning team
    Required Skills:
    • Excellent Communications skills, both verbal and Non-Verbal.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision highly self-motivated.
    • Proven track record in the delivery of high quality customer service
    • High level of PC Literacy & Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel capabilities
    • Strong Team Player
    • Ability to perform and make informed decisions under pressure
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Negotiation and conflict management skills
    • Business Communication Skills
    • Understand the breadth of products, solutions, and services (key offerings) and the resources that support delivery of the services.

    • Ability to generate reports suitable for Management presentation/audit
    • Eye for detail with high level of accuracy. Data Analysis of large data sets and making sense of the data
    • Ability to follow process strictly in a step-by-step manner and execute commands with precision and with zero errors.
