Job Description

Danfoss is a leading manufacturer of electronic controllers in Refrigeration and control segment. An Electronic RD facility is being setup in Chennai covering the areas of software applications, firmware, electronic hardware, mechanical and validation so as to facilitate end to end electronic product development. The product and projects portfolio will be as per global requirements of the company The position requires a high caliber Software Engineer for software development. Role

  • To actively take part in understanding key Software requirements functional non-functional.
  • Responsible for Design, Coding, Unit testing, and peer reviews.
  • Verify and Validate design through Unit Testing, Integration Testing and support System Testing.
  • Adherence to Development Process and provide inputs in schedule estimation.
Task
  • Understand and deduce the Software requirements and high level design.
  • Execute high level design into detail design and coding.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive Unit testing
  • Involve and support in Integration Testing.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of detailed design.
  • Adherence to design and process excellence.
  • Guide team members technically.

Minimum requirements to educational background
  • BE/B.Tech in CS/IT, MCA
Minimum requirements to working experience
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Software Application development using any of Java, C#, .Net technologies
Technical skills Mandatory:
  • Experience in Java or C#
  • Unit Test frameworks like jUnit, NUnit
  • Proficiency in HTML/JS/CSS
  • Experience in databases SQL NoSQL
  • Proficient with coding guidelines, design patterns design principles for highly efficient programming
  • Working knowledge with SDLC tools like (IBM Rational tools, VSTS/TFS, Jira, SCM tools likes SVN, GIT)
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum
Desirable:
  • Experience in Web Application Development using J2EE or ASP.Net
  • Experience in CI/CD tools like Docker, Jenkins, Bamboo, Chef, Puppet, collaboration tools for code review.
  • Exposure to TDD, BDD
  • UI frameworks like Bootstrap, ReactJs, Angular, jQuery
  • Working knowledge in Linux
