Job Description

Job Title Director Architecture Cloud & ML OpsThe Purpose of Your Role Fidelity Workplace Investing (WI) provides benefits to Fidelity customers, employers and their employees, in a growing set of areas - Defined Contribution, Benefits Outsourcing & Payroll, Investment Products.As part of the WI Technology Architecture team you will be key player in helping move us forward into our digital future and digital transformation of our business. As an Architect within Fidelity Investments Workplace Investing (WI), you are responsible for establishing the strategic direction, alignment to the enterprise and WI directions, setting standard, mentoring and choosing technologies across WI. This unique opportunity to work in the Fidelity Architecture team as Technical Lead and accelerate our efforts in building out the Fidelity Blueprint. Be responsible for taking Data Science models and scaling them out to production by creating MLOps pipelines and enable Data Science teams to transform, analyze, experiment, train, validate, serve & monitor.The Value You DeliverAs a Director, you will be responsible for

  • Become a critical team member in a large-scale transformation effort
  • Participation in governance process for technology blueprints, policies and standards
  • Participation in architectural council and sub-committees
  • Partnership extended architecture teams, including Data, Cloud, Cyber, and API, to ensure alignment for all cross-technology blueprints and strategic decisions
  • Actively work to optimize, consolidate, reuse, simplify technology across the organization
  • Provide development leadership in building core blueprint capabilities
  • Design and build scalable machine learning services and data platforms
  • Experience in design, build, test and maintain machine learning infrastructure to empower data scientists to rapidly iterate on model development & deployment
  • Work with data scientists to implement AI, ML & NLP techniques for variety of use cases using open source frameworks and cloud provider services
  • Providing mentorship to junior team members.
  • Contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
The Skills that are Key to this roleTechnical & Behavioral
  • Experience with one or more of MLOps tools: ModelDB, KubeFlow, MLFlow, DVC, etc
  • Experience with cloud service provider ML ecosystem such as AWS SageMaker & Azure ML
  • Experience working with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, Luigi, etc
  • Experience working with containerization (Docker) and container-orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud data flow & integration systems such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, AWS EMR, AWS Glue, etc
  • Experience in working with parallel distributed systems such as Apache Spark, Flink, etc
  • Experience working with machine learning algorithms such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, etc
  • Experience working with AWS AI ecosystem such as Textract, Comprehend, Kendra, etc
  • Experience working with NLP based algorithms such as BERT, ALBERT and deep learning algorithms such as CNN, RNN, RBM, AutoEncoders, etc
  • Strong experience in programming languages such as R, Python, Java
